In the second episode Ana finds herself on Metis Colony, an Outcast colony friendly to her cause. There she meets up with an old friend/mentor. But her previous actions have brought trouble with her to Metis.

Bale receives a new assignment from high in the Founder government, an assignment which forces him to return to a life he thought was behind him. Meanwhile Ana's ship, adrift in space, comes under attack by a mysterious third party.

Rescued just in time, Ana and Bale are brought to an Asteroid Belt mining colony, led by former resistance member Nash. While Ana plans her next attack, Bale is reminded of the realities of reintegration.
